Setting up products and services in Envoici is an essential step to ensure smooth invoicing, sales, and inventory management. Follow these steps to configure your product and service list.
Setting Up Products & Services #
To begin managing your products and services in Envoici, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Items Section
- From the Navigation Bar on the left, select Items.
- Click on Products/Services to enter the items management section.
- Add a New Product or Service
- Inside the Products/Services section, click the + New Item button to add a new item.
- Select the item type and enter the basic details such as the Name and Unit of Measurement for the product or service.
- . Enter Additional Details
- Add a Product/Service Description and any other necessary details.
- Choose the appropriate option based on your business needs:
- I sell this product: Select this option if you only sell the product.
- I purchase this product: Select this option if you only purchase the product.
- Both: Select this if the product is both sold and purchased.
- Track Inventory For This Product (Optional)
- If you are maintaining stock for this item, select the button next to ‘Track Inventory For This Product’ to enable inventory tracking for the product.
- Specify the Opening Stock and the Reorder levels.
- Save and Manage
- Once all details are entered, click Save to store the product or service. You can continue adding more items by clicking Save and Add Another.
Managing Inventory Products #
If you sell inventory items, you can enable inventory tracking:
- Specify the Initial Quantity on hand and the As of Date to begin tracking stock levels.
- Choose Inventory as the product type to enable stock tracking. For non-inventory items, such as digital products or one-time-use goods, select Non-Inventory.
- Set the Cost Price, which helps track cost of goods sold (COGS) and profitability.
